Ever-present yet powerless sin for the redeemed of the Lord are sin-nixers and the only possible keepers of the moral high ground!

If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us, , that our old self was crucified with Him so that the body of sin might be rendered powerless, that we should no longer be slaves to sin. For anyone who has died has been freed from sin, , For sin shall not be your master, because you are not under law, but under grace.
(1 John 1:8, Romans 6:6,7,4)

In other words, all have sinned and sin is resident in all. For some it remains active and unresolved, others powerless, some plagued by it, some freed from its hold, some, toil for their bread in misery and or evil while others rejoice in His rest for their souls.

Good understanding [the Gospel] wins favor, but the way of the faithless is difficult (Proverbs 13:15)

While sin is resident, there is always cause to rejoice for the sin-conquering child of God.
