Finally, it's time that I stopped. I used to drink when I was younger and that was fine but I had stopped for years and years. Got married, had a family and one fateful day went to a wedding reception, had a few drinks, well, I thought it was only a few but it was a lot more. That was a few years back, I've been drinking 3-4 days a week since. It's hurt my family, my work and me. I know that I've got more worries now then I did when I was younger, more responsibilities means more to worry about and I think I'm using drinking to escape it for a while. I have to quit drinking before I lose my family, my job, everything that means anything to me. I live out in the sticks and not really any AA chapters anywhere close but would love to find help online. With God's grace I know that that I can do this.
I'm finally ready to say that today is 12/08/13, this is day one.
