I just got in the mail a "newsletter" called Reality Check, that's published through American Life League/Rock for Life, and there's an article in there I wanted to share.
I love that story!
I have an "Abortion is homicide" hoodie and my best friend has a matching one saying "Abortion is mean".
I worked a pro-life stand at my local fair over the summer, and they gave me a tshirt that someone had ordered for them, and on the back it has the same message that Rock for Life puts out, it says "You will not silence my message, you will not mock my God, you will stop killing my generation" and I actually wore it to the mall one day, heh heh. It was interesting cuz I ended up walking into Hot Topic (note, it was the first time in my life, and no I don't dress gothic
) so I felt really awkward and got out of that store about as quick as I could.
Anyway, wanted to share the article with you all. =)
Recently, we received an email from Elizabeth, a young lady who is a chapter leader with a really cool story to tell. She visits her local mall frequently. On one occasion, she was wearing her "face it, abortion kills" tshirt as a complement to her ever-present "abortion is mean" bumper sticker on her white Mustang.
The other day, a store manager approached Elizabeth. The manager asked Elizabeth if the white Mustang belonged to her. When Elizabeth replied yes, the manager told her the story of how she was recently pregnant, scared, alone and contemplating having an abortion. During this process, she decided for the first time ever to pray and asked God to help her. Eventually, the young lady scheduled an abortion. One the day of her scheduled abortion, however, the manager was leaving the mall to go to the abortion mill and the first thing shr noticed was a white Mustang with the bumper sticker, "abortion is mean." The store menager felt this was a sign from God and chose to have her baby.
If someone has ever told you that you cannot make a difference, they are wrong. Even something as simple as placing a pro-life bumper sticker on your car could help save a baby's life and a mother from a life full of guilt and shame. Would you consider putting a bumper sticker on your car or wearing a shirt to the mall? It could make a world of a difference in someone's life.
