I'm a Communications major (Human Communications to be exact... hehehe). I used to think I'd be in Music Ministry or something along those lines, but God put a passion on my heart when I began to seek Him and the desires of His heart. I hope to break into the magazine editing field and maybe have my own magazine company one day. *takes out soapbox* With the shape that this society has become... I want to bring something to this day and age and prove that God is still the same God yesterday, today, and tomorrow. With all the garbage in today's generation's reading material (especially girls) I, for one do NOT want my daughters reading that junk. They're 12 or 13 and already having to know "How to get this far with your boyfriend" and it disgusts me. Not that I have never struggled with these issues, but with experience, hopefully comes wisdom. I'm not trying to shelter them from this world because God knows thats almost close to impossible and also unhealthy (cause then they can't minister to those who DO struggle with it) but I want to at least show them what a true woman (or whoa-man) of virtue is like. Proverbs 31:10&30
