major religions

We only hear often hear about the medieval church and it's relationship with Judaism and Islam. Didn't the medieval church have meet people from hinduism, buddhism and other major religions?

It's a little-known fact that during the middle ages, there were Christian churches in central Asia, India, China, and even more far-flung places. However, I'm not sure whether we have any firsthand historical documents detailing their relation with other religious groups in those parts of the world.
