  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

I was a big fan of Michael Pineda last year and was sorry to see him go to the Yankees. My wife even got me his Yankee jersey. He had a shoulder injury during spring training and I just found out he's going to miss the entire season, so I'm kinda bummed out. I hope he recovers for next year because he showed a heck of a lot of promise.

There's a 2ft long dog at the Ballpark in Arlington that's $24 or $26.

That said,

GO RANGERS!

I read about that in the Dallas Observer :o

GO RANGERS!

 Hopefully our next trip to the World Series this October we'll get what we rightfully deserve and we won't throw a game. Third time's a charm right? Go Astros too!!! They also deserve a World Series title.

My DisAstros have just won three in a row. If we only played the Angels, Mariners, Rockies, and Royals we'd be in good shape.

It would really help the Rangers if y'all played the Angels more :p Help even more if y'all beat the A's ^_^

The Astros are something like 1-17 ALL TIME against the A's. We beat them once back in 2006 or 2007.

Hello fam,

Man I love me some baseball. I have lived in So.Cal my whole life yet I have been a Giant fan my whole life, odd I know. Not bad winning 2 out of the last 3 world series. Made the trip to SF the past 2 years to watch the Giants play.

This year however not soo good... Our hitting is a lot better but our pitching is absolutely horrible. Which is funny considering that is what won us our 2 WS. Even worst the Dodgers are finally hitting their stride and looking like the team we all thought they were going to be. :(

Been a baseball fan since 1956 as my late dad was a semi-pro baseball player and huge fan of the old Brooklyn Dodgers, Yankees, and Mets. But the game today is nowhere as much fun as it used to be --- in the old days many games only lasted 90 minutes to maybe 2 hours. Today the games are prolonged in order to sell more beer at the game and generate more revenue for the teams and their owners. This makes the game exceedingly boring so I watch very little of the pro game today.
