CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

The other one that was found yesterday has been identified as 47-year-old Peter Hausmann of Rosemount. They found another body today.

Last nite about 2-4am it rained like crazy so all that water sped up the flow in the river, so no diving today, and about 110,000 people are without power because of downed lines--may not be up til Monday and it is in the 90'S!

They found another set of remains today.
"The list of confirmed missing included Christine Sacorafas, 45, of White Bear Lake; Vera Peck, 50, and her son Richard Chit, 20, both of Bloomington; Greg Jolstad, 45, of Mora; and Scott Sathers, 29, of Maple Grove.
About 100 people were injured in the collapse, but only eight remained hospitalized, their conditions ranging from serious to good. Hennepin County Medical Center released one patient and upgraded another from serious to satisfactory condition, a spokeswoman said on Sunday."

One of our local news stations has been scouring inspection reports from the state's transportation dept and they found one from last year list 8 bridges that need to be replaced as soon as 2009--the one that collapsed was on the list: http://wcco.com/topstories/local_story_226213539.html
