I'm sorry I came across as snutty earlier. To me it's a non issue. To you it's not. Your friend is very blessed to have such a caring person as yourself for a friend. i guess if it was my friend I might be a little concerned too. Although I'd probably come right out and ask her about it.

If you all have read everything I've posted and still would have no concerns, that's fine. But in case not....I've known her (and him) since before she married, she took his name and always uses it.

I don't appreciate being scolded...a simple response of ..."no it wouldn't concern me", is sufficient. I didn't accuse her of anything at all, and yet that was brought up too.

So...really, nothing more to say. I get it - some would be concerned as well, and some are finding it offensive that it's even crossed my mind, let alone post here about it.

I don't think anyone of us are terribly offended, it's just that some of us has been on the reciving end of such inquires and feel for your friend. Some of us have found it irratating and nosy when others have done it to us.

I'm truly sorry if you felt that I was offended in anyway.
