  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

I've always been a rock fan. I'm a firm believer in the presence of guitar, bass and a real drum kit in a song. Synths and other electronic embellishment should be minor and if possible non-existent. Of course you're allowed to disagree, but as a guitarist it's my opinion of what constitutes a great song.

Yes, but strictly in a fun, joking manner (that's why I had the ":p"; I wasn't trying to be insulting).

She is somewhat "phenomenal". She's been around... 10? 20 years? And she's still popular. She keeps reinventing herself, and that's pretty impressive.
Of course. :)

I really like Madonna's music as well. She's been making music for what, 20 years now and still going? That says something IMO.

I really like her newer stuff. Her Ray of Light album is one of the best albums I've ever heard - it's excellent.

I do not like her at all. Anyone who takes the name of the Virgin Mary and dirties it like she has is not going to have me as a fan. I don't even care about her music. She harlots herself around and takes the name of Jesus' mother. Thats just wrong.

I see where you're coming from but Madonna is her real name. So I guess her parents are to blame for her name...
