I don't know. I thought it was a logical conclusion. If you are undecided and one of the parties call anyone who votes for Trump a loser and deplorable or facist I don't think that is very welcoming.

Put it this way Trumps popularity has been increasing in recent weeks. Why do you think more people are supporting Trump.

Like I said Trumps support is increasing. Harris was leading nationally and in some swing States now Trump is leading nationally and in all the swing States. Harris personal approval has also dropped.

What you are deceiving is just a strategy that doesn't work. Not the same thing.

If the strategy doesn't work in bringing people to Trump then isn't that the same thing. Instead of them coming to Harris they are going to Trump or the tactic is actually making people even more sure of staying with Trump instead of changing their mind and coming to Harris.

No negative politics never works. I remember when name calling crept into politics around the 80s. You would watch politicians in parliament squabbling and name calling trying to outdo each other. It was like the name tag became more important than the policy.

Now we see it everywhere, inside and outside parliament. So it seems as politics became more personal this has spilt into society. I think social media helped this as it made everyone a politician with some sort of platform in what was suppose to be a social network. THis is the result of the feminist and Queer critical theories where reality is all about performance and the political becomes the personal.

Short of seeing polling numbers the impact won't be noticed anyways.

Actually it is being noticed as I mentioned above. The pendelum has swung to Trump just 5 days before the election. I think this was also caused by people beginning to see Harris for who she really is or that she has little policy and vision beyond identity politics.

That is why we have seen a change from the joyful and hopeful Kamala to the angry and hateful Harris now only focused on Trumps character as a facist that will destroy democracy. Fear mongering.

But this will only make matters worse as negati8ve character assassination doesn't work. I guess they worked out if no one is going to literally assassinate him they may as well do it via words.

I don't know. I was curious as to why you would think that negative tactics attacking someones character would not work. Why you would need me to prove that Harris and the Lefts name calling was not having a negative affect and turning people off.

Not really. Leftist is to destinguish from moderate Dems. Its an extreme position with the Left side of politics. Its like capitalist, materialist, socialist, communist, tradionalist or alt right-ist. Its the 'ist' that defines the ideology and not the person.

I mean we use socialist, capitalist or materialist to describe certain ideologies all the time.

I don't have anything against the people who choose to be Leftist personally. I don't have anything against Islamist as humans. Just the ideology. Just like people hate religious dogma but not the person.

I know people who think this way and it's so bizarre to me. You don't like the current White House's policy towards the war, but Trump has made it clear he's going to be even more supportive of Israel.
