CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Nobody is trying to force Evolution, or any other scientific theory, into the Bible, because the Bible is not where it belongs. Where it belongs is in scientific textbooks and published scientific papers. That said, it is not legitimate for creationists to try and hide themselves away inside a hermetically sealed container, and then try to pretend that anything outside that container, which they don't like, can be ignored when interpreting the Bible.
That is intellectually dishonest, and it brings discredit upon Christianity.

Last I read the bible says Adam was formed from the dust the Eve from Adams rib....this certainly isn't evolutionism.

What occurs in the video is to complicated, sophisticated and precise to have come about via a process of random chance mutations occurring in just the right place at the right time...over and over again man, many times.

In Timothy 2:13 paus has instructions for women. Why would Paul base certain instructions based upon a parable?

No, it is something which was written around 1,000 BC with the intention of communicating theological ideas. It was not then, and is not now, an attempt at physical science.

The bible says through one man every nation was made.
Acts 17:26 And he made from one man every nation of mankind to live on all the face of the earth, having determined allotted periods and the boundaries of their dwelling place,
...this contradicts your belief in evolutionism.
