  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Okay before I start commenting on the quotes below. I could seriously quote each one of you and give comments. And this thread makes me SO hungry. I could definitely eat mac & cheese every day. I like it in a box, or homemade. Although I havent had it homemade in a long time.

The only mac & cheese that i dont like is restuarant mac and cheese. No one seems to be able to make it :( Except for KFC. I know that sounds weird, but they make awesome mac & cheese.

How do you like it?

Homemade? From a box?

What kind of cheese? Do you put meat in it?

Since I mostly eat mac and cheese from a box I'll just tell ya what brand. I like kraft or velveeta. Elbow noodles or the little spirals are really good too.

I do like some baked mac & cheese too, if it's made well.

I like homemade the best. My grandmother's is the most awesome mac n cheese on EARTH. And I don't say that just because she's my grandma.

She makes it with cheddar (loads of it), Velveeta AND cream cheese. Yes, please. :D

Oh me word. This sounds really good. Partly because I love cream cheese. Is that it though for the recipe, she just puts mac and cheese noodles (elbow or spiral?) and then the three cheeses? :yum:

Oh...and no meat in hers.

I do like mac n cheese with either tuna (plus peas) or turkey (or chicken) link sausage. :D

I've never had meat in any mac and cheese, but I can bet tuna would be really good in it.

I make it the way my mom makes it (which I think is the way my grandmother also made it): switch between layers of macaroni and sliced cheddar (from a block of cheddar) in a casserole dish and put pepper and dabs of butter between each layer.

I'd love to try this, it sounds delicious! :satisfied:

Edited to add: I just realized, I dont like meat IN my mac & cheese, but I do like a meat with it. Usually bologna but sometimes with ham. :yum:

My great grandmother made the most amazing macaroni and cheese ever. No one, seriously, no one else can even come close. Even my grandmother who had the same recipe couldn't do it. I swear, there was magic in that stuff.

haha thanks I usually get alot of grief for posting pictures like that they disagree with the ketchup :D and you should make some soon!
I can see the yummyness of hotdogs and mac & cheese, even though I prefer ham or bologna. I just dont see the yummyness of ketchup on mac & cheese. lol

Course then again I've never tried it so Im not putting it down just yet. :p
