You really need to take some courses in logic



Intelligence can trump natural selection by allowing us to resolve environmental pressures that other creatures can't. Regardless, we are more complex in a vast number of ways even if we don't "mutate" faster



Or we could use our intelligence solve it via immunization and hence it won't wipe us out which is more efficient than allowing members of a species to die out

Because you bandy the word around a lot without seeming to know what it is.

I think you thinkif you say that you are being logical that people will look at you in awe , but you aren't actually using logical arguments, your answers are ill thought out and often quite illogical, you throw words around without defining their meaning, all in all your arguments are a mess.

I think you need to step back and think about what message you are trying to convey because at the moment it is very confused

I have tried to show you analogies but you either ignore them totally or initally respond then hand wave them away without a second thought with comments that show you dont even understand what an anaology is or what my point is, then dont reply a second time. How can anyone of us have proper discussion with when you do that?

I think I have gotten dumber by reading this thread.

I'd go further KAG. I'd say they are exactly the same. I had a discusion a while ago with James, and this is exactly how it ended then as well. Too bad I cant find the thread anymore It ended up being locked my a mod for review, but never opened again. I posted my reply anyway to the GA forum, maybe if someone finds these threads you can compare them

No, it's because your analogies are quite honestly, pointless. We are doing interspecies comparisons and you wanted us to compare intraspecies which is POINTLESS. We are comparing DIFFERENT species. DUH

Don't need to go that far. Just read back thru this thread. James stopped posting on the 8th, Pitt started on the 10th by defending James's posts.

Both posters use the same post style, they both argue in the same short, simplistic fashion, they use a lot of the same terms and phrases(apples and oranges for example), and neither of them can ever concede that they might be wrong in the slightest. They both have an ego the size of Texas.

You're not making any sense.

Cold you try to state your position a bit more clearly.

You may have done lots of courses on logic ( ), but you still seem unable to present a logical, well thought out argument, unless you think saying "that's wrong" or " you're stupid " to everything is what logic consists of,you flit around all over the place as well.

Try and explain why humans are the apex of evolution from a biological point of view, this doesn't mean saying it is so because we can build cars, I mean proper biologically valid reasons as to why you think humans are biologically better than all other species.

As pittguy/james says it is a simple logical argument. All you have to do is accept the first premise and the conclusion becomes obvious.

Humans are defined as the maximum of the metric of complexity.

By this metric, no other creature is as complex.

Hence Humans are the most complex creatures on earth.

It is circular, but it is logic of a sort.

Then bacteria win hands down. They are present in almost every niche imaginable, from the coldest to the hottest spots on earth, places that no human could live in, much less have trillions of offspring within a 24 hour period.
