Has anyone here seen this film about Van Gogh from 1956? It's one of my favorites. Kirk Douglas was great at playing the lead role and Anthony Quinn played Gaugin very well.

Has anyone here seen this film about Van Gogh from 1956? It's one of my favorites. Kirk Douglas was great at playing the lead role and Anthony Quinn played Gaugin very well.

I found it disturbing, which meant it was effective. It was an unflattering role for Douglas and he took the challenge.
