CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I'm a SAHW so I pack my Husband's lunch alot. At the job before this he had set hours and right next to a nice diner, I would meet him there once a week for lunch after work, it was nice.

I pack my husbands and my lunch most days now. And occaisionally when I know he will be there (he is a technician so is on the road a lot) I will take lunch to him and we hae it together.

I work nights...wifey usually always packs me some food.
This year, I had to work on our Anniversary night, so she bought and brought some Mexican Take-Out that night. We chowed in the back of my beat-up 4-Runner during one of my breaks. (a friend watched the kids)...probably the BEST anniversary we've had in 15 years even thought it was only 20 minutes long....
(I was going to attempt something CRAZY but thought better of it.....probably would have extended it to 25 minutes...hehe.)

No I don't meet my husband for lunch, the time of his lunch break varies. And no I don't pack food for him to take away, he's a big boy now and old enough to do it himself.

We both either pack or own lunches, or he packs mine if I'm running late. I've packed his when he's running late, too.
Personally, I like packing his lunch for him...It gives me an opportunity to slip a note in there for his lunchtime perusal

We both work outside the home, within about 4 miles of each other. We do eat lunch together about once every week or so. It's really nice to be able to do so.

I don't meet my husband for lunch, he works 45 min. away from where I work. I don't pack his lunch either, he likes to do that. I work less than 3 miles from our house so I get to eat lunch at home.

Sometimes I pack him leftovers from what I made for dinner the night before (if it was edible), but if we're going to meet for lunch, we usually just meet at a restaurant near his work.

I pack my lunch and also my husband's lunch every day. We work nowhere near each other so it is impossible for us to eat lunch together.

My husband has worked second shift for the past couple of years so we get to eat lunch together but not dinner. I usually pack his dinner so that we save money. He can't come home for dinner because he has an hour commute to work. In about a month he will be switching back to first shift though and I am very much looking forward to having dinner together. There's just something different about being able to sit down and have a nice dinner together after a long day compared to a rushed and/or basic lunch right before my hubby has to rush off to work.

Sometimes on days he works long 9:30am to 7:00pm our son and I will meet him for lunch. He's working long today but today we're saving money by not even spending the gas to go out.... by the time he gets home at 8pm the little guy will be in bed.... doh

During the week our lunches are the only time we see each other so I come home every day for my lunch time and he comes home for his. That way we can fill each other in on the little things.

I stay home and he works 4 miles from the house so we eat lunch together every day, we love it! It's going to be hard when we move and/or he switches jobs and we can't eat lunch together anymore.

I generally pack his lunch. Somedays he will have us come meet up at a restraunt for lunch, and if I go to work with him then he often takes me out to eat.

I occasionaly meet my hubby for lunch on Fridays. He only has 30 min so I will usually go and get our lunch and be waiting in the parking lot. If it is nice we will eat at the picnic table there or go to the park and eat our lunch.
He packs his own lunch on the other days, but I do make sure that he has plenty of things he likes to eat so he can have something good for snack and lunch.
