I never understood this.

It means God OFFERS Grace; His One true and only faith and many know "of it" BUT refuse for a varity of reasons to actually "Know it."

Can only have One set of Faith beliefs

anything else is impossible and illogical.

Jesus was chastising the Pharisees and liking them as children/playmates-some of whom refuse to respond with dancing when other children play the flute or with grief when their fellows wail.-Luke 7:32.

Jesus likened this child’s song to John the Baptist and himself in the following verse.

It was impossible to satisfy the people. Nothing pleases them for John has lived an austere life of self-denial as a Nazirite, in keeping with the angel’s declaration that “he must drink no wine and strong drink at all.” And yet the people say he is demonize d. On the other hand, Jesus lives like other men, not practicing any austerity, and he is accused of excesses.

This verse is very apt for this forum.

People are "in the marketplace" for anwers, but when someone tells them what God actually says, they don't do it.

The quote feature using my phone doesn't work. I wasn't implying anything. I usually come out and say what I mean. I'm in here to get answers not to play mind games.
These forums really have dwindled since I last recall. Actually I think I was a little more active at an earlier year before that. I don't recall when that was tho. I didn't look up my own history. Maybe it's in there still. Just is annoying on your phone when ads keep popping up everywhere. BTW, I click on the ads I don't mind seeing because then those kinds of ads pop up instead of the ones you don't want to see.
