  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

There he stood on the shoreline
surrounded by the light
of the stars and reflection
of the grey blue moonlight
off the river his shadow
danced soft in the waves
her shadow met his
appearing as one made
in the night of the summer
when things seemed so pure
emotions were so raw
young minds were so sure
in a simple brush of hands
a love danced on fingertips
lust formed in their palms
truth dripped off their lips
and they kissed
bliss
never missing a beat
they kelt in each others arms
blending in surrender
no fear of daybreak’s harm
wind wrapped them in warmth
a blanket of sanctity
on a bed of white sand
together
was all they needed to be
a song of love forgotten
still sings through the jordon light
of the moment they were joined
one saudia arabian night

her mother posed questions
where’ve you been all night
and why is your hijab
twisted to the right
father swung a hand
landing on her cheek
as her love stepped in to block
and knocked him off his feet
i love your daughter
I’ve already married her
I’ll be taking her
to america in another week
my tour is done at seven days end
and you’ll never harm her
with your hated hands again

she has disgraced us
with unclean lips and flesh
In the name of Allah come
I know he lays this test
her father screamed anguished
you are no daughter to me
the lovers turned and ran
from all she used to be

They hid out in the barricks
Til the day finally came
they rode in peace and freedom
as they headed for the plane
One Saudi Arabian night
Two lovers touched lightly
Hearts beating in harmony
Praying ever so silently

Freed from her family
forsaking her God
Their love was worth more
then any sacrifice it cost
She leaned in to kiss him
never hearing the shot
Her family redeeming
the dignaty they lost

In the Saudi Arabian night
You can still hear them sing
a love song in the sandstorms
whipping through eternity
They dance as the windblows
and if you look close
As the stars shine from the heavens
you can still see their shadows
Making love on the river
Wrapped in grey blue moonlight
Two lovers one forever
In the Saudi Arabian night
