CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I just joined Christian Forums and I really like your story of 1 Corinthians 13! I hope you don't mind me sharing it with some of my friends. Thank you for sharing it with us. It really makes you think and this part meant a lot to me:
*Love comes and sits with you when you're feeling down and finds out what is wrong. It empathizes with you and believes in you. Love knows you'll come through just as God planned, and love sticks right beside you all the way. Love doesn't give up, or quit, or diminish or go home. Love keeps on keeping on, even when everything goes wrong and the feelings leave and the other person doesn't seem as special anymore. Love succeeds 100 percent of the time. That, my friend, is what real love is!*
God's love is so powerful! It's so cool to think that His love for us is ever-lasting! God is love! May He help us to love him with all our hearts and love each other as He loves us! God bless you!!

Good lesson, StoryTeller. I've tried to be open and honest and there for people, but it seems that they push me away though. Why is that? I've always wondered why that was. I find it offensive when they push me away when I'm trying to show them love.
