Like a gentle breeze on the beach- so is my love for you.
It comes in heavy- like the torrent rain.
And tender- like a drop of rain.
It’s as powerful as the great winds of a hurricane.
And as graceful as the wind blowing the leaves to and fro.
It’s as golden as the sunset or sunrise.
It’s as delicate as the soft petal of a flower.
It’s your love.

What is Love?

Love is you- it’s defined by your presence- in my life- in my heart- in my soul.

You’re the heartbeat I feel when I’m very still.
You are the tick of the clock as the minutes fly by.
You’re my ever-present smile on my lips.

I couldn’t imagine my life more complete- than when I’m in your arms.
My life would be empty and sad and lonely.
I completely become lost in your eyes and the beauty that is your smile.
When you’re happy, I’m ecstatic, and when you’re sad, my heart aches.

I’ve never felt as close, or as committed to anyone.
You’re my sunshine, my rainbow, and my waterfall… I love you so much- love is you.
