TOPIC: LOVE FOR ONE ANOTHER
TEXT: EPH. 5:25
"Husband, love your wives, even as Christ love the Church"
God here gave the command, for husband to love their wives,but it is verse va ser. God is also talking to the wives as well to love their husbands, it should flow from both side,love is not one sided.
WHAT KIND OF LOVE SHOULD IT BE
1. UNCONDITIONAL LOVE: Unspecified love: love that is not subject to anything.
The Bible makes us to understand that: God commanded His love towards us,even when we were yet sinners Christ died for us. Rom.5:8
That is unconditional love, because we were unworthy of His love, yet He died for us to be free from the hand of the devil. That is the kind of love that husband and wife should have for each other.Where there is love forgiveness abound and therei stolerance for one another.
2.SATISFYING: Where there is love, there is satisfaction for each other. Let the love of your wife satisfy you and wife let the love of your husband satisfy you. Prov 5:18
3.JOY :Where there is love there is joy, many people to day don't find joy in their marriages why? Because there is no love for each other.In the home where the love of God is: every thing around looks beautiful: you will be happy with your marriage,kides, husband or wife. But absence of love brings hate, nagging and fustration.That lead to devoice.
Final word for some body, God is speaking to some body out there, LOVE is sharing with your wifeand husband : you share love, burden, joy, experiences and listen to each other. I believe you don't want to endure your marriage, you want to enjoy it: then love each other inspite of mistakes which can easilly be corrected or ignore.remember your first love, that brought both of you together,it shoud not be allowed to die.
The Bible say in Songs of Solomon 5:8, "many waters cannot quench love, neither can the floods drown it". There are times of floods, problems, oppositions
o not allow them to quench your love for each other.
Gen.2:24 say.. "they two shall be one flesh in love": cleave to your wife and let both of you become in your marriage. God bless you.
PRAYER FROM THE WOMAN OF GOD
In the name of Jesus, Father I pray today for every home, every marriage, husband and wife. I ask Oh Lord that your love should envelope them and keep them as one in Jesus name Amen.
Every power of darkness, satan and demons militating agaist that marriage I crush it in Jesus name Amen. I command your love to overcome every hate in Jesus name, Amen .Thank you that you have heard me in Jesus name I pray Amen.
