These two words came to me tonight. Love Army. Two words that seem the epitome of opposites. And that is what I see... and see we are not..... and yes, praise God, see what we are about to become.
Love taken to the extreme, the love of God Himself shed abroad in our hearts. That is what our God has planned next. He is about to awaken His bride to be.
You all know where I am coming from. Unless you are a new poster, you know I believe that the reason we have all, the entirety of Christendom, been healed only slightly, and find ourself still struggling to control sin and self is this. The black dog in us is dead and that we don't believe it.
I have not hesitated to testify openly of being awakened to the glorious truth of the new nature, a nature we are called to put on like a comforting robe. I so wish you had known me before my awakening, for I didn't even like me.
I was Jacob, a supplanter, a schemer. Not in a bad way, just always looking for the easy way out. An angry man because I was a frustrated man, having a love affair with a thing I hated. HATED. I had a great knowledge of "God stuff" and could debate for hours doctrines and meanings of scriptures. I look back on the religious me and realize....I was a modern-day Pharisee, proud of the things I should have been ashamed of.
And now I would rather like to think you might like me in person if we ever met. For six years now, God has been working himself out in me, inside purity growing outwards, the right way to become sanctified. Fruits that I thought impossible I now see in me, and see them grow, and I am most amazed at all. A kind, patient me. Who'da thunk it. LOL. wow. Christianity that works. What a concept.
So with that in mind, I am slowly realizing that this truth will change us all, and every single true saint of God will soon burst forth from "having a name that you live but are dead".... to LIFE. We will be going off like popcorn with increasing frequency, a grass roots swell of love for God and for each other. A multitude of cocoons begin to unveil in new birth transformed butterflies.
We are about to be "born again" born again children of God. Ha. I like that.
We are about to learn how to KNOW God and to truly discover the joy of praying, when He is there every single time, and there immediately. Wow.
We are about to come face to face with the pearl of great price, and soon, all that we have valued in our lives, and our very life itself, will be seen as worthless, pearls we willingly give up, even to considering them as dung, because the pearl of great price is THAT GOOD!
We will KNOW God. A true very tangible relationship. A love affair with God. A people whose vision has been shifted from this world, which is coming to a close, to the next, which is our home. HOME. I can hardly believe it. The reality of it, and of the God we serve are about to take a sharp turn upwards, praise God.
You see, we are the virgins that are about to be awakened from a long sleep of 1900 years or so, a sleep that insured the church would survive and endure till the end without the devil killing it out completely. If the book of Acts had continued in its power and mass appeal, turning the world upside down, the devil in men would have torn it to shreds long ago.
Restored to book of Acts life? Greater than what they had?? Impossible, you say? I've lost my mind, you say? LOL. I would not bet on it. We are about to see our God roll up His sleeves and show us the impossible:
"The eyes of the Lord search too and fro across the whole earth, seeking those on whose behalf He can show Himself strong."
And as we awaken to who we really are because of who is IN us, with the old us dead, we are destined to become an army of joyous, on fire, unified saints, living, breathing, ovgercoming, a true new testament church. OJNE church. His church. We will exist for one purpose, to glorify Jesus Christ as His representative. We will look in the spiritual mirror and see a new us, and actually like ourselves. How about them apples!
And with this amazing love of God for us, shed abroad in our hearts by Christ abiding there, a palpable love that we will walk in every day, to our amazement we will see the true meaning of John 17. Oneness. When one person becomes one with God (self has been reckoned dead so all that is left is the new you...Christ and you living together in your body) and another does as well, a miracle happens. You are one with them as well.
Both commands finally fulfilled in us... and yes, before death. We will love our God with our whole heart, and we will really mean all. And finally, glory to God, we will love each other.... as we love ourselves! Now you KNOW I am losing it, LOL. But I am not kidding. This is coming.... for you. Your future. Your birthright. God's will for you, even your sanctification.
We are about to become..... enlist in... a love army, Christians who have been awakened to Christ in them, and they will reveal the glory of what the church was always meant to be to a very unbelieving and very lost world.
And it will come to pass that many in the world will stand amazed at what they will witness. Some who have left the church in disillusionment, some who have mocked the church because of its blindness and hypocrisy, some who long for answers to find freedom that can truly be walked in.
They see our "bushel basket" mentality, where more often than not, we cry "Come to OUR church, come to OUR doctrine, come to OUR denomination." Not come to OUR Jesus. Telling. And praise God expiring soon.
All is about to change. And so great will be the transformation, the Spirit revealing butterflies in us, that they will exclaim
"Look! That which bore only briars and thorns has become again like the garden of Eden."
That is what a love army looks like. Love to the extreme.
The awakened church is going to grow, so buckle your seatbelts. Why? Joy is contagious. And then will be fulfilled what has been prophesied by Ezekiel in chapter 36:
"and the heathen shall know that I am the Lord, says the Lord God, when I am sanctified in you before their eyes."
Guys, I love you all, and you may now officially put me in the "crazy" category, LOL. I can't say as I would blame you. But God has shown me this and has simply asked me to show it to you. I pray I have done it with zeal and yet with patience and kindness, even when hard to hear things have needed to have been said.
This that I share, I pray you get past the perceived insult part of this, for to put on we must first put off, and to do that, we must come to see the flesh for what it is, a rebel, and for what it isn't...which is US.
Then I simply ask you to do three things.
1) Look at the scriptures themselves to see if what I share is scriptural.
2) Listen to the cry of your heart. Do not let your mind dictate truth to you. God speaks to you heart, not your head.
3) Pray. Simply bring this entire message I share, that we ARE light but are being robbed of the enjoyment of that by our unbelief and limiting of what God can do in us... and bring it to God to see if it is truth, or simply the rantings of a well intentioned but thoroughly deceived man. You might be surprised what you hear back. Welcome to the love army. Your life is about to change... radically.
