In episode 3.18, D.O.C., Desmond said the LOSTies have killed more Others than the Others have LOSTies.

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

The others have just taken people. I haven't seen where they actually killed anyone.

Goodwin - Steve/Scott (Lostie)
Juliet - Picket (Other)
Tom - shot Sawyer but didn't kill him
Patchy - shot Sayid but didn't kill him
Lostie kills:
Charlie - Ethan
Sun - Colleen
A. L. - Goodwin
Locke - Patchy (well sort of)
Eko - 3 the night of abductions
Lostie/Lostie kills:
A.L. - Shannon
Michael - A.L. and Libby
Nikki - Pallo and herself (if even by mistake)

I thought some tailies were killed, or were they only kidnapped?
Micheal was under the influence of the Others, so does that count as Other kills Lostie?

So if our calculation is correct, so far we have
Others kill Lostie = 1
Others kill Other = 2
Losties kill Other = 6+
Lostie kills Lostie = 6 (including the marshall)

I thought it was interesting that Desmond knew that. Unless they've suddenly started sharing information with each other - which was indicated last night, but seems to be a rather recent trend among this bunch - I wonder how he would know what was going on while he was in the hatch. More flashes or just, finally, some conversations between each other?
