For those who don't know
About the Haiku format
I will tell you now

First line has five beats
Second line has seven beats
Third line has five beats

And when I say "beats"
What I mean is, "Syllables"
Now go forth and WRITE!

But don't write for Jack.
Write for Sawyer, Jin, Sayid,

I have paraphrased
But that is the gist of it.
So there, you haikued!

Now I want to know
If "haiku" can be a verb
And what's the past tense?

With Jack I must say
To get caught in a big net
Would be the greatest.

And should it happen
I'd be in heaven all day
He's my dream come true.

I know most agree
Like Gracepaints to name just one
That Jack is a jerk.

But in Season 4
Jack will certainly come through
And be the hero.

I'm seeing around this place,
It's Sawyer time now!

His name is Sawyer,
or James Ford, he's also called,
and man, is he hot!

Tall, dark, and handsome,
with a truly winning smile.
Plus he's a bad boy

He'll give you nicknames
that will likely insult you.
Still, he's loveable.

But the best thing is
he's really a big softie.
A bad boy with heart.

I probably broke a few of these `haiku' rules here. Still, best I could come up with in a few minutes:

Going nowhere fast
Deadly secrets all around
Ringed by water

Monster roars in dark
Shadows past and present lurk
And bring death with them

Conflicted souls look
Into mirrors searching for
who they really are.

They are wandering
In the forest of their minds
Lost there until found

Of that bad boy hottie James
I have this to say..

He needs a haircut
and a shave would be awesome
and some mouthwash too.

His winning smile
Could melt the heart of all girls
and maybe some boys.
