Katrina
Heavenly Father, may Katrinas parents find peace and rest in your embrace; may she and her brothers be guided and comforted by your Holy Spirit; may they find strength now, and in the days ahead. Please help them, Father, that their faith will remain strong, and that their parents will live on in their hearts through their memories of them; please help them to heal their broken hearts; help them to be strong to persevere; please guide helpful people into their lives on whom they can rely when in need of guidance, support, wisdom, or any type of assistance. Please help them to feel the comfort of your presence. INJC
"Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted."
Matthew 5:4
The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. Psalms 34:18
And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes;
and their shall be no more death,
neither sorrow or crying,
neither shall there be any more pain:
For the former things are passed away
Rev. 21:4
"For God so loved the world
that He gave His only begotten son,
that whosoever believeth in Him
should not perish but have everlasting life."
-- John 3:16
Twenty-Third Psalm
The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures;
He leadeth me beside the still waters.
He restoreth my soul; He leadeth me in the paths of
righteousness for his name's sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow
of death, I will fear no evil:
for Thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff
they comfort me. Thou preparest a table
before me in the presence of mine enemies:
Thou anointest my head with oil, my cup runneth over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all
the days of my life: and I shall dwell
in the house of the Lord forever.
Psalm 31
9 Be merciful to me, O Lord , for I am in distress;
my eyes grow weak with sorrow,
my soul and my body with grief.
John 16 22
So with you: Now is your time of grief,
but I will see you again and you will rejoice,
and no one will take away your joy.
John 14:16
And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;
