Lost both parents!!!

this year has been the worst and I really don't know what to do. My dad died of cancer this year in jan and my mum died in july on my younger brothers birthday, the 30th of july. please pray for me and my brothers. I'm 16, younger bro 12 and older 19. please pray for me as I feel I'm loosing my trust in god. please pray. luv Gods angels!!!!

Heavenly Father, i pray for Katrina in this time of sorrow. Father, to loose one parent at 16 is hard enough, let alone both. Please just be with her and her 2 brothers. Comfort them through this hard time. I pray that you would help them to grow in you Lord. To become a better christian because of what has happened. Lord, please give them strength and wisdom to keep on going, and please don't let them loose faith in you.

Katrina, i'm real sorry to hear about your parents. I don't know exactly how you are feeling at the momment, but i do have an idea. Not long ago, my leader at youth group was exposed at doing some pretty bad stuff, and it turns out that he had been lying to me for nearly a year. I had developed a real trust in him, and to me, he is now dead. I started to loose my faith, i didn't want to believe in a God that would allow that to happen to me, and so i ended up disliking God for a period of time. But the one other person that i looked up to in life helped bring me back to God, and even though i don't know why God allowed for it to happen, i know that it has strengthened our church, and we are all now more into God. So i know what you say when you are loosing your trust in the Lord, cause i have done the same thing. But the best thing to do is to talk to Jesus, to ask him back into the drivers seat of your life, so that he can comfort you and lead you. Our trials are in our lives to help us grow, and even though something bad like the death of your parents has happened, God can still use it for good if you let him. dear everyone on this thread. the prayer you have given me has been great for both me and my brothers. this year I'm currently in year 11 and still struggle with the cooking and the studying of homework. PS: I feel sad when I hear of people loosing luv ones, luv 2 you all!!!!!!!!!!! I have also been having suicidal thoughts for some time, but know thank god that the devil is not attcking me anymore.
