• CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Some ways to lose weight is to walk or run a mile everyday. That wil help you lose weight and get stronger at the same time. Excercise everyday like doing push-ups about twenty times. There are other ways to lose weight like going on a diet and other things. Pick your own way to lose weight!!!!!!:)

i like cycling or swimming, in the summer we play tennis on the public courts too

joining a health centre and taking part in one of the classes is a good way to not only lose weight and get fit but also to make new friends and socialise in general

i think eating healthily is a must, obviously allow yourself some treats but a good balanced diet not only keeps you healthy but makes you feel better too !

Oh, don't cut out all fats. Infact, make sure you get healthy portions of carbohydrates, protein, and fats. The only way you lose weight is by burning more calories than you take in. The calories you take in you sould be clean, and a gram of carbohydrates is just as prone to lead to weight gain as a gram of protein if they aren't being burned or used up.

Eat lots and lots of greens and veggies. Lots. Eat until you feel like you're making environmental protection organizations angry.

I have cut out all sodas...I only drink water. I do not eat any sweets at all...and only allow myself chips every once in a while. I have lost 18 pounds in about a month. That is with no extra exercise...

Orson Wells is reputed to have said "Gluttony is not a secret sin."

He's right.
Losing weight is not rocket science, magic, or mysterious. If you take in more calories than your body burns, the body will store the excess as fat.

You want to lose weight? Eat fewer calories, or burn more calories.

Eating properly is very important. So is some form of exercise.
Forget drugs, fad diets, secret food combinations.

If you are serious about healthy fat loss (Not necessarily weight loss) then go to this web site. It is full of good common sense.

I shed quite a bit of fat this way. I feel much better, and I can now put my socks on without help!

Cheers,
Rick
