Losing faith and overcoming all doubts

I'm still new in my relationship with Yeshua and recently I started losing faith. Everything was seeming ridiculous and I started sliding back to atheism. I did not go to church today because of all this. I thought it was stupid to focus on a being I have never met.

Honestly within the last 10 minutes I had a revelation.

I was trying to comfort someone that just lost her cat. I was focusing on love and then it hit me. God has been with me all my life. Even when I thought I did not need Him He was there. God is Love and since there is love in this world that means God is everywhere.

I now feel that intense love again but it is stronger than before. I guess what they say is true. When you struggle you become stronger.

I'm very glad to hear about your realization. Sometimes we do draw closest to God in the toughest times, but sometimes that is when we feel the most distance. One key to a lasting faith is to be prepared for the ups-and-downs that life brings, and those that we face in our Christianity. A foundation built on trust is needed to get through the downs, and proper expectations prevent us from losing heart when the euphoria of the up times fade.

Make sure you are not just a God worshipper, but have eternal life in the Lord Jesus Christ. Then you won't have problems of falling away, for you will be sealed by the Holy Spirit.

Pain is gain for a Believer. just like body building.

All the random fealings of doubt you were feeling was nothing more than a demon trying to influence you. This is perfectly normal for anyone pursuing a relationship with God.

Humans give authority to eather God or demons by the thoughts we think and the way we feel. and of corse by our words and actions.

demons can put a thought into your head, they can also make you feel something that is not you. I used to cuss out God in my car about once a month and blame Him for how crappy my life is than i realised it was just a demon trying to influence me and i said. "NO THESE ARE NOT MY THOUGHTS THESE ARE NOT MY FEALINGS, I LOVE GOD AND I WILL SERVE GOD". Instantly i went from being full of adrenelen to the most relaxed i have ever been in my life. it was total relaxation and total peace better than any drug. lol. and it lasted for anbout 30 minuites and i have never gotten mad at God sence. because i got rid of the demon influencing me.

I also had a demon that influenced me to hate my mother. I never vocalised hatred to her but my relationship with my mom was never close. Now that i got rid of that one i have an excelent relationship with my Mom.

So ya telling demons to get lost is part of truely decideing what you believe and who you will be. Remember every belief is nothing but a choice. allot of times a demon will influence you with a thought or a fealing and than they will try to make you feal guilty about it when it didn't even come from you. lol. i hate demons.

I learned this stuff about demons in a sermon from Kris Vallotton called Spirit Wars. You can purshase it at ibethel.org at the store. but basically it just talks about everything i just said.

Life as a Believer is allot ezer when you realize that demons exist. They are so much ezer to resist when you don't think you are fighting yourself. lol.

Awesome job at resisting the devel. You will be able to resist even more now that you know what is really going on.

The more you read scripture the More weapons you will have to use agenst the demons. but they can use scripture to so you also need to develop a relationship with God. When Jesus Was in the wilderness satan tempted Him and he use scriptue But Jesus resisted satan with scripture and submission to the Fathers Will. Every time you Pray "Father Your Kingdom Come Your Will Be Done Hear on Earth As it is in Heaven" you grow stronger to resist the devil.

It's not just a good comparison, but God connected with you in a way that is almost tangible.

Remember that He chooses to dwell within you. That's an odd concept, so don't get caught up in it. But your thoughts and His will interact, your strength can be derived from His, and He will be so close that He won't walk away from you.
