Name: Lord Valkin

Age: 48 (chronologically, 324, deceased)

Weapons: A mid-sized shield, and a greatsword. These were weapons passed down to him by his father. Using more recent blackmithing,Lord Valkin has restored these weapons to their former glory. He has also restored his black, obsidian armor.

Bio: Lord Valkin was born in 1467 as the son of a king in one of the European countries. Lord Valkin was a kind and benevolent ruler, and treated his people with the upmost kindess.

He married a young lady by the name of Marianne Smithe, and he loved her very much. She was beautiful, funny, and kind to everyone around her.

When Lord Valkin married her, the entire kingdom was happy. The kingdom lived in an era of peace and prosperity. Trade increased, and the social economy increased.

Then came the time when Lord Valking asked Marianne to bear him a son to inherit the throne.

Marianne died in child birth. The child lived, and she was a girl. Lord Valkin vowed to protect her, since he could not protect Marianne.

His daughter had been named Minerva, after Marianne's grandmother. Minerva was just like her mother, and loved her father very much.....

Then, she died. The plauge swept all over Europe, taking Minerva's life. Lord Valkin had no one.

He loved Marianne and Minerva. Why had they been taken from him?

Then, Lord Valkin came across a book in an occult library. It had been written by Faust. Faust was a man who had mad a contract with the devil, selling his own soul to gain power's as a necromancer.....

Such a book would surely have been burned before being placed in any other library. But, Lord Valkin made an exception. He was fascinated by this book.......

He decided, then, that he would make his own contract, and bring back Minerva and Marianne. He would not lose them again.

The contract was a success. Lord Valkin felt the powers of the dark world flowing through him.

Then, he felt a stab in his back. He looked down. He had been impaled by a lance. One of his own soldiers had stabbed him.

Apparently, someone had paid the librarian at the occult library a pretty penny to find out why Lord Valkin was there. The librarian had told them everything.

Lord Valking looked down at the wound. He was bleeding, but his blood wasn't red....It was black, as black as his obsidian armor. He fell over, apprently dead.

He was buried, and a funeral service had been held for him, half-heartedly. The kingdom was saddened to discover their king had been playing with the powers of darkness.

But, Lord Valkin was not dead. He awoke to find his wound fully healed.

But, he needed rest. His body had healed the wound to keep him 'alive', and had drained most of his powers. He needed rest, so he slept.....for over 600 years.....

And now, he is back. He looks as if he did when he was alive, but he has come back from the dead.

Comments: Lord Valkin can be killed. You have to chop his head off to kill him. Also, he can't regenerate, since all of his powers were drained, but he has just enough power anchoring himself to the world.
