Lord of the Rings: The Third Age

Hey i just got LOTR:3A for ps2 and, being an LOTR fan, i find it pretty interesting. The battle system is a lot like final fantasy 10, and the equipment system is just awesome. Each little individual item that your character is equipped w/ appears during gameplay and you can see your characters sporting the items. I think that is pretty cool. Also, its fun to explore all the areas in the books and movies. I just started playing, but I think it should prove to be a worthwile experience. Anyone else out there played it yet? If so tell what you think!

I got it for CHRISTmas, yesterday. You've gotta admire all the detail that goes into the armor and weapons. I haven't gotten very far, but it's promising to be very satisfying.

Let me be the first to say... I HATE IT!!!! I thought it'd be like TTT where you actually move your ppl and stuff. I hate these staged battles.

i just got it for gamecube it is the same as ps2 version i love it it is much like final fantasy but with lotr character and enimies

I hated it because it feeled like they took a great RPG and watered it down. Nothing to buy....no NPCs to talk to....leveling up after EVERY battle...Ugh.
