"To this end Christ hath died and rose........that He might be Lord -
Romans 14 : 9'
The Lord Jesus alone has the right to possess you as Lord.
He not only died on Calvary's cross, and was buried, but on the third day He rose again, according to the scriptures, and ascended on high. Now He shares that resurrection life of His , by the indwelling of His Holy Spirit; and with that resurrection life He not only penetrates but possesses every truly redeemed life.
God made us to be inhabited: and any area of your life that is not possessed by the Lord Jesus constitutes one of the greatest danger points in your life. There is no fixation point in the Christian life. As the great areas of our life are thrown open by the light of the Word, we have got continually to say. 'Lord in this area be Thou sovereign; and in this area be Thou Master; and in this area be Thou King'
