Every night I look up near death experiences hoping one of them will help my belief in heaven come back and therefore my belief in God is he going to send me to hell for just not having faith.

The General Mental Health Forum is now a Read Only Forum. CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Once again, I think you're identifying your doubt with an abscence of faith. Doubts are going to happen, it doesn't mean you have thrown the Christian lifestyle away and are automatically going to hell.
Also, looking up near-death experiences like you're doing might not help you. I believe I've said this to you before, but I don't want to completely discourage you from ever reading Christian apologetics to strengthen your faith. However, you should also be aware that, when you are obsessive-compulsive, looking up Christian apologetics can be your compulsion.
It sounds like you're doing an awful lot of reading, and I assume that you probably haven't noticed much of a difference yet? Looking up these "near-death experiences" might be a compulsion of yours. You should consider trying to not read too much of it.

When I was 33 I rode in a truck with a Cristian who explained bible prophecy in today's world. I always wished Jesus was real, but I couldn't believe the nonsense. However, by the time he was finished I was a firm believer and still am today. My favorite topic is prophecy because it proves Jesus is Lord.
Do you read your bible. It is a lamp to your feet and a light to your path. Start by reading Mathew. When you get to chapter 24:15 you will find the first clue to when Jesus is coming back. Verse 31 is the rapture of the church. Verse 15 tells you that there is an abomination spoken of by Daniel the prophet placed where it shouldn't be. Obviously you need to find out what Daniel said, so go to the book of Daniel and read it. At first it will seam like a lot of mysterious stuff that you can't understand, but if you continue the light will grow brighter.
Daniel 9:24 gives us a time period of 70 weeks. Understand that these weeks are like the week in Genesis where Laban cheated Jacob of his younger daughter Rachel. Read the story in Gen 29:27 so you can know it is true. So then each week is equal to 7 years. The 70 weeks are 490 years. Daniel 9:25 tells you the exact day that the Messiah would be crucified. If you take the time to study the time you will find that Jesus was crucified on the exact day Daniel prophecied the Messiah would be cut off.
You need to calculate from the day Nehemiah was ordered to rebuilt Jerusalem until that 434 years ends. A good book to help you calculate this is "Armageddon Appointment with Destiny"
Understand that the last week talked about in Daniel 9:27 has never before happened. Scripture is like that sometimes. For 2000 years Christians have been waiting for that last 7 years to come. It came on January 1st 2007 when the High Representative of the European Union confirmed a covenant with many nations around the Middle East.
That was the beginning of the final time before Christ return. Daniel 8 talks about different kingdoms that would rise up and fall. Each one was ruling the Middle East for a time. The last one has never come. However the Muslim in the area are now forming an alliance that will bring together the 10 kings. They will begin their rule 2300 days after the covenant was signed, according to Daniel 8:13,14. That will be about April 18 2016.
Is your faith coming back yet. There is a lot more prophecy controlling the world than this.
Read Rev 17 carefully and look into today's world. Study the Black Pope and see if you can connect the dots. Look at the Middle East for understanding. Watch movies like Martin Luther, the three Musketeers, Robin-hood, and Zorro. You get entertained while you get taught. These are fictional stories but they depict the way the Religious rulers worked their webs contrary to the teachings of Christ. So What entity in the world today is dressed in scarlet and purple, sits on many countries of the world and bows down to worship figures of saints that have gone before us. Today their leader prays with leaders of other religions for peace. Would Jesus tell you to pray to another religions god?
Now look at Rev 13 and the beast described there. You will learn that it is Islam eventually. What is Jihad? You can't buy or sell and will be killed unless you take their mark or become Muslim and profess Allah as Lord. The number 666 in this chapter was originally an Arabic word. Arabs who are christian now can read that word and they say it should have been translated Allah is Lord, not 666.
Are the lights coming on yet? You don't need an out of body experience to believe in Jesus. You just need to study his word and the word of the prophets and ask him to help you understand.
If there is sin in your life ask him, not a priest, to forgive you. If you are sincere, he might even talk to you. He says "My sheep know my voice" The Holy Ghost is Jesus ghost. He is here for a short time longer before he goes back to be with Jesus to prepare him for his return. While he is here he is all yours. A Ghost is the person in whom he was manifested in. The Holy Ghost is exactly like Jesus. Watch a movie about Jesus like the Passion of The Christ and ask yourself if this Jesus would deny you. Did he do all that he did so he could tell you to bad you lose?
Will you accept his blood as payment in full for your sin and repent? Was the cross enough?
The answer is "Yes"
