CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

My gaming experience has been several hours of game play, oh wait, you want to know about how I feel as a Christian playing these video games.
Well some games I feel are fine to play others are just bad. I would say when the video game starts off twisting, or adding religions, or including God, and then twisting it into some weird off the wall religions, that I do not believe in. I do not believe in reincarnation, though I play a games that mentions it, but if they have something bad to say about God, and use blasphemy, then I am gone, and I will never play a game like that.
Or if the game has Tarot cards, what does that have to do with the video game? I mean that stuff is for Witches in real life, that should not be used in video games in my opinion. Also if the game has a ton of swearing, than no, but a little I can handle, and if the video game uses the Lord's name in vain, than I am so not playing it. I do not play many rpgs because of these issues, and also because in some rpg's there is some nudity, or close to it. I had to get rid of a lot of rpgs I used to play. I do try to stay as open minded as poss while playing, until certain lines have been crossed.
Now as far as racing games. As long as it is racing and not some other weird junk added to it, and as long as their is not a-lot of cussing, and woman who need some clothes, than yes I would play it, otherwise. Also I should be able to turn the music on or off, if not I will turn game sound all the way down and play my own music..
