CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Seriously dude, what do you think are the chances of finding someone online to help start your band. Please don't find this offensive because I mean none.
You have to be able to connect with your band members, your going to be gigging with them for the next few years! I suggest pulling some friends in on the action and at worst, put an ad in a local newspaper or music store.
Just my 2 bits anyway, no offence intended.

This guy is 16 and doesn't really have any experience in this area, so I wouldn't take his advice. There is nothing wrong with looking for other musicians on the internet. If you're willing to travel, I would jam with you. I'm going to college in MN (for music, guitar more specifically) so I'm not really able to go anywhere right now. Get back to me if you want.
