  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I love Delaware. My family is mostly on the east coast, and often vacation there. I love the ocean.

Really? I have a son in Pottstown.

Really! Pottstown isn't that far from me!

David and I went to the beach yesterday. I guess since I've always been here I'd rather live in the desert.

Every year I go to OC NJ with my whole family. I love it

I've never been to OC NJ. I've been to Wildwood when I was a kid. I've gone over to Cape May a few times on the ferry.
We love OC because it is a Family friendly place. It is a "dry" town. No alcohol allowed on the beaches. There are no bars anywhere.

That's how Bethany Beach used to be. :(

I know Bethany Beach. We used to go there...:)

My son works for Glaxo-Smith-Kline near Philly.

What is strange is that my husband and I are Penn State grads who moved to New Mexico and then to Texas. But my oldest ended up in Pa, almost as if that state called him home--he was born there--

Yeah, we got like 2 foot last night! The drifts were something else. My son and I did alot of shoveling, then he called his girlfriend, and her dad came with her and the snowblower and snowblowed us out. I am SO sorry I did any shoveling now. I am SO sore...my back, arms and one shoulder. My son is like..MOM I don't want you to hurt yourself. I just wanted to be outside! It was so pretty out..
