The General Mental Health Forum is now a Read Only Forum. As we had two large areas making it difficult for many to find, we decided to combine the Mental Health & the Recovery sections of the forum into Mental Health & Recovery as a whole. Physical Health still remains as it's own area within the entire Recovery area.
If you are having struggles, need support in a particular area that you aren't finding a specific recovery area forum, you may find the General Struggles forum a great place to post. Any any that is related to emotions, self-esteem, insomnia, anger, relationship dynamics due to mental health and recovery and other issues that don't fit better in another forum would be examples of topics that might go there.
If you have spiritual issues related to a mental health and recovery issue, please use the Recovery Related Spiritual Advice forum. This forum is designed to be like Christian Advice, only for recovery type of issues. Recovery being like a family in many ways, allows us to support one another together. Every minister struggles with sin. The singular word, sin encapsulates all sin(s) together. We all struggle and fail and try again and succeed only to fail again. If any one could live without ever sinning, Jesus would never have had to come, right?
Whatever your struggle, God loves you, and you are precious to him. He sees your heart. He PAID for you and bought you and He is glad to have you as his child.
Recently I searched the Word for passages that would explain which sins God considers worse than others. Surprisingly, all are the same in his eyes.
I found 224 or so different abominations listed in the Bible; including lying, gossiping, and giving someone a dirty look. It's all the same to Him. It is all sin and it is all paid for.
Try to not give in. Work hard at it as I can see it distresses you. Your struggle may not be mine; but I've got some weaknesses of my own that might never be an issue for you.
Father, I ask that you touch the heart and mind of Formuzik. I sense his heart. I know that You love him, Father. Give him Your peace. Send those who can be of great help. Deliver him and help him to not feel condemned as that is not of You. In Jesus' name, amen.

A Light in the Darkness
As simple and child-like as this may seem, I imagine Jesus by my side, literally. I imagine angels all around me too, watching me, throughout the day. I don't want to disappoint them, especially God. In the midst of a struggle, it feels good to claim victory over the struggle, right at that moment; I command satan and his demons to leave my presence through the blood of Jesus. In James, it says to resist the devil and he will flee and also in James (2?) it says even the demons believe in Jesus and tremble. I will pray for you, God bless.
