I'm looking for some reliable information regarding the big bang theory!
If anyone could direct me to a few threads/links on the subject I would be very grateful.

I would prefer something that is relatively easy for the average person to understand as I have barely any knowledge on the subject.

Anything that tries to tackle the problem of how the raw ingredients where there in the first place and the cause of the big bang would be exellent.

Click on The Cosmic Perspective 3rd Edition. You have to make a username though, and it's a paysite, but you do get a free trial to decide if you like it. They have some nifty movies and one specializes in the Big Bang I believe.
