  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

When you are dealing with the events of Jesus, you are dealing with the Jewish feasts. Jesus showed us in a plain way that He is the fulfillment of the rehearsals of the feasts. He is the shadow of good things to come.

The feasts are a remembrance of something past or a direct commandment of God. The Passover is a remembrance of a real event (Passover of the Angel of death in Egypt) and it was also a rehearsal of a coming event that Jesus was to be the fulfillment of. When they were killing the lamb at Passover, Jesus was being killed on the cross to be our once for all sacrifice for our sins.

The spring feasts were all fulfilled in real time by Jesus. He became the total fulfillment of each of the spring feasts. He fulfilled each spring feast at the exact time that the rehearsal feast was being held. He is the fulfillment of the rehearsal of the feasts.

Each major event at His death was a fulfillment of a rehearsed feast. The Jewish people in holding their feasts days (for thousand for years) were rehearsing what Jesus the Messiah would do when He came.

The feasts are the shadows of what will come to pass in regards to Messiah. If you are looking for Jesus to return then you are looking at feast days. The plan has been shown clearly to us that the feasts relate to Jesus the Messiah. To leave the pattern is to miss out on the shadow of good things to come in the rehearsed feasts.

If the Jewish people would have known that Jesus the Messiah was to be the fulfillment of the rehearsed feasts, they would not have missed Him. There would have been people who would catch it that Jesus is the promised Messiah.

The Jewish people in holding God’s Sabbath are rehearsing the 1000 year reign of Jesus the Messiah (the 7th day). The 1000 year reign is not the first 1000 years; it is the last 1000 years.

Looking for rapture; then look at feasts.
