Looking for musicians in New Jersey

Hello. I'm a 23 year old guitarist from New Jersey, USA looking for other Christian musicans around my age to jam with and possibly get something serious going. I have many years of experience and I recently graduated from college with a degree in music. I specifically am interested in playing heavy rock music. Thanks.

Hey man, I live in NJ, also, I play trumpet and guitar and I am interested in starting a band, too. What kind of bands do you want to sound like???? Oh yah, what college did you get your (BM I guess) at?

I'm into creating something sonically very powerful that can span all extremes of the dynamic spectrum, as well as being very atmospheric (i.e. keyboards and stuff). Devin Townsend does something similar musically to what I'm looking for except he does it in a purely metal format. I'm interested in doing something a little more varied and not so heavy all the time but very centered in rock.

I got my degree at New Jersey City University.

hmmmm.....any christian bands to have a reference to sound?

Not really. I want to create something completely new musically while keeping the lyrics Christian based.

kind of like experimental?

Not necessarily. Just music based in rock but it can get really dynamically heavy or really soft if the music calls for it.
