new to the forums. I am a male Methodist worshiper looking for a daily devotional book, and looking for input and suggestions. I am more liberal in beliefs than some other people, enjoy "deep thoughts" in a devotion book but also like there to be a daily scripture reference. Books written in a contemporary voice would be my preference. I have not yet checked out the Upper Room devotions, though I intend to grad one sometime soon.
