Looking For Good Christian Sexuality Resources

Hey all,

For sometime now I have been interested in the topic of Christian Sexuality. What the bible says, how it affects us, what is good what is bad etc. But I am finding it difficult to find a book that is just down to earth. I find that most books I have found are "self-help" books. Like, "If you have a problem, here's what the bible says...blahblahblah". I'm looking for something that says "This is where the bible stands". I'm looking for a well written book or podcast or anything that says, This is Sexuality in the context of the Christian. I want something that is Candid and honest. I have found it extremely difficult to track down books that address topics like fetishes and different "sexual practices" that are not widely accepted. I guess what I'm looking for is anything that gives candid discussion on everything from the basic to the taboo. I'm sure I can find stuff written by non-christian authors that is candid and "true" but I always find it to be "perverted" and twisted in some ways. It always has a slant....

Sorry for the long paragraph. If you have any suggestions please let me know I'm really just searching for knowledge. I don't know why this topic interests me so much right now, but I have an inkling that It may come in handy in the future.

Most books will be about sex from a biblical perspective. A subject such as fetishes probably would be seen as a specialist issue confined to therapists rather than the general public.

I can recommend some titles on Sex and biblical teaching,but I'm not sure they will be what you are looking for in those specific areas.

'Sheet Music' by Kevin Leman is a good, down to earth basic book, though probably not nearly as extensive as what you're asking for.

themarriagebed(dot)com is a Christian website/discussion forum where it seems that nothing is inherently taboo, but anything discusssed is measured against and scrutinized by Scripture. I think you'd find it very interesting.
