Greetings Everyone,
As you can see I'm a newby here and I'm trying to find my way around. My Mom Passed away in January and after 23 years of care giving I find that I have a lot of time on my hands and very few friends. I would love correspond with other Christian people and learn about each other. While I'm working through a depression. So I'm hoping with God's help and some new friendships I will learn how to live again for myself and family. I'm hoping to restart my hobby of scrap booking.

Hi Colleen how ya doing girl? Hang in there. I lost my mom almost 4 years now not a day goes by when I don't think of her and her smile. my sister, dad and I took care of her till the end. Now my mom is at peace with Jesus.

Hee, I post from work too, but today I'm home.

I lost my dad in 1995, so I totally understand the feelings. The grief has pretty much gone, but the memories are there. Sometimes I still feel sad and miss them a lot.

How old are your kids?

Sounds like payroll has changed a lot since I did it last (I did it by hand). Glad we only had a dozen employees.

Hello my dear sister, i am a neewbie too looking for friends....would be greatful if I could be consirdered one of your many friends....anyways, I would like to share with you a word from our heavenly father which I know that youre quite familiar with too. Gods word is there for re-assurance and faith, he has promised us that he will never leave nor will he forsake us, and thats a Promise...there is no way you can get your mom back but I can assure you that with God you will never be lonely and depressed because he is Love and is there in you. I have a very close friend who also lost her mum December last year and now she lives with us at home, I have learnt that Life Goes On just by looking at her situation...and her response to life. I once asked her as to how she responded to the loss and she replied stating that she has the Lord by her side and that even though there are times when she feels lonely and depressed, she is reminded that one day we will all meet in Heaven. Well I hope to hear from you any time whenever you need to chat or a word of encouragement. You take care, and my prayer that you will find Peace and restoration wherever you go and that the God of Peace be with you always.

Dear Lilly, Thank you so much for your encouraging words. I miss my Mom greatly she was a big part of my life at one point almost turning into my child more than parent. But, I do know that I will see her again and I'm sure she is happy with Jesus and my Dad that went 11 years ago to make a place for her.god Bless! Hope to talk again soon.
