Looking for friends to encourage and support me.

I have decided to quit drinking today. I am a newbie on this website and a newbie in my faith walk with the Lord. I am looking for support and words of encouragement in my journey of a new life without alcohol. I have felt that with those I do share I want to quit I don't get enough support because they lead me to believe I do not have a problem. I do and I need to hear this because its what really will make me understand that I do need help. I also suffer from vertigo and somehow this has made it worse.

I'm always willing to throw in my two cents a lot of the times in will be in a word of encouragement. I would recommend finding support local also. Maybe start with a loving bible based church. Remember the start can be the toughest. Take it one moment at a time and one day at a time. Take care, God bless.
