Hello! I am also new the Christian faith and recently picked up this book called Start! the bible for new believers, by Greg Laurie, it is a New Testament, New King James version, it gives me perspective and helps me understand scriptures.

I also have a NLT life application study bible by Tyndale, I am still learning to apply it and study,.
