Looking for a place to play

I am in a new band and we are looking for a place to play. We have been trying to think of venues, and events to play at, but so far haven't come up with much.

Just wondering if anyone has any suggestions.

My band plays rock music. If you want to hear what we sound like before suggesting, I can post the link to download 4 of our songs. Just post a reply asking for the link.

haha! well considering you are in Manitoba and I am in BC, you probably wouldn't think that to be worth a one hour show.

Hmmmm 26 or so hour drive, play for an hour, 26 hour drive... that's a pretty good weekend.

I wish we could come out. That would be so fun.

ummm... the GVRD- Vancouver.
I would say where exactly but I am sure even the people in Manitoba know jokes about where I live and know how to dish'em!!
There was a rumour going around that my city even made David Letterman's top 10 list ... yikes. :o

Sorry, I was mostly dreaming. I don't think we could swing that right now. I'm sure if we planned a tour, and had shows along the way...

we need to get out there a bit more. Get heard outside of our area.

Who knows, maybe some day.

Because those are some legit reasons to stay where you are for the time being!

I keep meaning to listen to you guys, but I have yet to get a chance....argh

Well 3 of us are married, 2 of the guys have babies on the way, and we all have full time jobs.

We're getting out as much as we can. We want to get some fans here and then build our way out to other areas.
