It's a new year and a new start to a bible reading plan. My problem is, all these bible reading plans have become stale to me. I have done the straight through, the chronological, the blended, etc... I look at them and just do not care for them anymore.

I am not a big fan of wherever my finger lands that's where I'll read. I have tried the Professor Horner reading plan and it's just to many chapters at 10 for me most days, especially when I work as I work 13 hours a day. Come home, eat dinner and then usually crash in bed.

I am using the Book of Common Prayer and going through the daily lectionary there, but know it won't allow me to read the whole Bible.

Any ideas?

I found a plan called "Word of God speak" which comes in four parts, one year total if you read a chapter each day. Available in the YouVersion app or Bible.com. It covers the New Testament and portions of the old.

You might be ready for something that covers a chapter a day and includes a study. Finding the right one can be difficult though.

May God bless and encourage your desire to study His Word.

Read all the way from Genesis to Revelation. Then there is no need of a Bible reading plan. The best plan is to read from cover to cover.

That's well and good, but a plan helps me to stick to it. Having no plan it so much.
