Looking for a good Single Player RPG for PC

Any one know any pretty recent single player rpgs for pc??? I really have not played a good rpg sense FFX and I really want to play a new one...but only have a PC right now...dose any one have any sugestions?

Knights of the Old Republic would probably be your best choice.

Knights of the Old Republic ALL THE WAY!

Sorry for the caps, but it is by far the best single player RPG on the computer. It's very much near FFX in terms of quality.

Knights of the Old Republic is excellent.

Might I also suggest Neverwinter Nights and the expansions, excellent game.

Neverwinter Nights is good if you want a more fantasy themed RPG. Or if you want a classic (with more of 2D graphics than anything-else) I highly suggest Baldur's Gate 2.

Thanks for you help....i will check out Knights of the Old Republic is it a simlar style as FF type games as well? LOL actualy i was think of getting an emulator and downloading some rpgs....

No, it is based on a type of Dungeons & Dragons ruleset.

As much as I loved it, Neverwinternights was a better game. Much deeper, way, way more classes/skills/spells, the expansions add a lot to the game. And the online play is unmatched by anything standalone.

Of course KOTOR did have light sabers, and that counts for a lot.

That's not an RPG though. It's an ARPG, computer worlds equalient of a hack'n'slash D&D game. And Baldurs Gate 2 is probably the best rpg game yet. KOTOR wasn't far behind though.

KOTOR isn't an RPG, it's a flaming adventure game with stats...

Try Enclave... Ummm, Well I like RPGs but they don't really make many good ones that are single players. I'm into more of a first-person shooter/world war 2 games

Puh-lease, Baldurs gate is no more of an rpg than diablo. Aside from the ability to change a physical features on your character, it is fundamentally the same. Run around and hit monsters till they die. However, I play D2 for the interaction, replay value, mulitple character choices with far more diversity, and I like the whole "crushing evil" concept. True evil, not just crazy people and magic practicioners.

Hardly, it probably has the deepest and best story of any RPG I have ever played
