  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Hi, I just registered here so I am brand new. I am trying to find a book and am not having any luck. I read it a long time ago and now I want to give it as a gift to a friend, but can't remember the title or author. Can anyone help?

It is a fiction story about a woman who is portrayed as a broken tea cup. She is thrown out in the trash, with other broken vessels. But the potter comes along (Jesus) and rescues these broken vessels and makes them new and beautiful.

The story parallels the life of this woman, mistakes she makes, failures and victories alike, but in the end she is a beautiful new vessel shaped by the Potter.

I thought it was called Potter's field or Potter's Hand, or something like that. I can't remember and my online searches are fruitless.

Does this ring a bell to anyone? Can anyone tell me what this book is and where I could find it again?

Thank you, be blessed,
-Charles
