Looking Down Into A Mirror

I just uploaded the pic I took of myself yesterday with the Polaroid. It's my profile pic. It's stupid looking but it looks better than that atrocity my mother took by the window.

I think I'm ill. My mother took a pic of me the other day by the window. I look like an old lady. My neck is saggy and has lines in it. I had no idea I looked like that. The pic I took of myself last night looks great compared to this!

I might as well forget about getting a life and take up knitting.

Aww Migs... don't cry, we're all in the same boat. Isn't it funny that in our minds we think we're still young, not just in thoughts but in appearance. Then we get in front of a mirror or see our photos and we're so shocked and disappointed because it doesn't match up with the mental image. At least you haven't got rolls of fat everywhere! You, who goes into children's depts to buy clothes!!

How great to see a pic of Miggles! And she's so cute too! Well, looking up into the camera... LOL! At least you've posted a pic of yourself! I'm not game yet. I did have one down in the christian gallery a few months ago, when I was a bit slimmer, but it's gone now. Onya girl

We have this young lady at church that is always going around snapping pictures. I am sometimes horrified at the thought of all those unflattering pictures of me out there for anybody and everbody to see.

One time she was here visiting showing off her photos and when she wasn't looking I did the unthinkable. Shhhh --I snitched one of me and she has never noticed,-- shhhhhh. I've never really been sorry enough about that to fess up.

I never take good pictures....the light shines off my bald head, my eyes squint and have crows feet, my age spots and moles show up.......

Anybody reading through this thread would think we were the ugliest people in the world! We should consider ourselves as 'faded roses', but what could we consider the men ... lets see... good old cars?.. with a few scratches here and there? A few 'dings'? But good ol' cars just the same.

I think I'm going to have nightmares tonight about that picture my mother took. I bought a couple of chokers at Wal-Mart but now I'm sorry. I don't want to draw attention to my neck.

Lol. I guess there's something to be said for a neck like mine. A vampire would never bite it.

I have a friend who always snorts when she laughs . Then she gets more tickled because she snorts, and that makes her snort more. It's crazy .

Do any of you snort when you laugh?

I'm so glad you asked that Prom! I'm happy to announce that I, too, snort when I laugh! And when I do, I snort even more because it's funny! I sympathize completely with your friend. She and I would be quite a pair in public.
