Satisfies their need to do away with God so they can do as they like and have no fear of punishment.
Logic failure.
So if I pretend to myself, somehow, that traffic police don't really exist, I will really think that I can go speeding with no consequences?

What an illogical mind you seem to think I have.
Well, we do have good, solid ideas how people measured time, in ancient times. What makes you think we don't?It has not been observed because it did not happen. Who knows how people measured time in ancient times? It could have been in months rather than years, if they were focussed on the moon rather than the sun, which would make 438 moons 46 years; that is possible.
We all look back on the past as a golden age when everything was better than it is now, even if it was actually far worse; our ancestors were no different.
We know for a fact it means the same as our years. We know that, because we do know how the ancients measured time. I don't know where you got the idea that we didn't.Yep. That is English and you and I both know what is meant by it.
How do we know what the ancients meant by it? Assuming that it is the same as our meaning is rather foolish, to say the least. Numbers had symbolic meaning to the ancients, and Noah had neither birth nor death certificate.
Yes, but not everyone is trying to get rid of God. I and many others believe that evolution would be impossible without God.On who I was "replying" to, I get confused when some claim evolution over the bible as well as being Christian.
Either way, some do just as I mentioned, that is, try to get rid of God using evolution to do so, again adding to the confusion.. Fortunately I was careful not to name any names.

Yes there are other problems we need to deal with but diet is a big part of the problem. No, I said sugar isn't the sole cause.

-_- you do realize sugar is in plant based foods, bread... pretty much in most foods without us having to artificially add it. And our saliva breaks down many complex carbohydrates into more simple sugars, and that even if that wasn't the case, the bacteria that cause the increase in tooth decay relating to sugar can break down more complex carbohydrates into sugar, so your point is completely unsound. It isn't the sugar itself that increases tooth decay, but the bacteria in your mouth, many of which are also symbiotic. Furthermore, even if you were to propose instead that these bacteria were not present, our teeth still wear down from just use alone, to the point that my post still stands. This is why even people that brush their teeth and don't eat foods high in simple sugars can still get cavities. And let's not forget the acidity of food, that also plays a role. Not really. It is sugar that rots teeth, and the ancients did not have sugar. Their teeth may well have worn down, but they would not have decayed as modern teeth do.
A lot like them making up the fact man evolved and was not created.

Lack of dental care or cleaning is the main problem.

Actually I could argue that Christians made up their version of God so that when they did wrong they could say "I'm sorry" and be forgiven for those wrongs without punishment.
Fact remains, ancients did not get cavities, we do.
That is what toothpaste and toothbrush manufacturers want us to think. In fact eating sugar is the main problem, and the solution is to eat (far) less sugar.
Many of your fellow Christians believe in evolution. And no, we are not gullible. If anything, those who fall for creation-science propaganda are the gullible ones. Evolution is a central concept in science simply because it is one of the best-supported scientific theories around. Now, maybe you think you are smarter, and wiser than all these scientists, but I sure am not about to fall for that. You could, and I could argue evolution was completely made up. You say you have all this evidence, yet none of it is proof because Science doesn't provide proof. So what you have is so much so called "evidence" it creates an illusion of if even if one piece is flawed, we have so much more that evolution has to be true. Problem is, a million bits of evidence and no proof doesn't equate to a single bit of actual proof.
Evolution is a joke and the question I ask often here is why would y'all constantly try to push it on a Christian site like you do? One reason that adds up is you use it as a tool to get God out of the picture. Or you tell me, why such concern for a bunch of gullible Christians? Why not let them fake themselves out if that makes them feel secure/happy? I just don't see that you are concerned for our welfare since you have nothing better to offer, if you were you'd just leave us in the fantasy world I mentioned with our Magical God.
I think you will find ancients suffered from many of teh same dental problems we do, if not sores. I know one of the pharaohs had a badly abscessed tooth, which probably killed him.Thank you for the lecture.
