Long Distance Couples Subforum?

I'm trying to see if there's enough interest here for them to make a subforum for us. LDR's have their own unique challenges, and I'd like an orderly way to see who is in one, how they've met their challenges, how the relationship's working, see advice from marrieds who were in LDR's, and what not.

It's been discussed before.

I personally don't see the need for more subforums in this section. These are issues that can be, and constantly are, discussed in this main forum. Subforums like that tend to just take away from the content in the main forum and are used less.

The sub-forums we have now are terribly under-active, I truly see no point in the current sub-forums for CC let alone new ones.

No offence of course. It's just that I think it is counter-productive to keep dividing up an under-active forum, the subforums will always go ignored and people won't get the advice/answers they are looking for. I realize your intentions are good, but I think this one should be placed on the back burner maybe, until a future time when perhaps we have more activity here.

That being said, after 5 years on CF, CC has always been one of the more underactive areas of Life Stages. It was a bit more busy prior to the upgrade to CF2, but even then not enough to warrant a new subforum for LDRs IMO.

I'm in agreement with above.

I'm in an LDR myself but I have to say there is just so little activity here splitting stuff off seems kind of pointless.
