  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

I mostly just need to get this off my chest, but prayers are also appreciated. I guess the feeling I've been having lately is loneliness. My best friend moved and we don't talk as much as we used to. I haven't seen my family much lately because everyone is so busy. I've always been the "fun" aunt, since I'm not too much older than my niece and nephew. But I found out that they planned a little party without me. I was surprised. Also, my brother was off work for a week, went geocaching, and didn't even call me!

I don't have any other friends; my family is who I hang out with most. I'm going to be starting work again soon, so at least that'll keep me somewhat busy. I just wish I was able to have a great summer like everyone else... Thanks for listening. It helps to know others who understand. Hopefully the family can get together soon.

We all feel a little lonely at times. Try not to read too much into not being invited to a few outings, that just happens. Sometimes a new friend pops up in the most unexpected way, I'm sure you have many new friends to look forward to. Praying for you too.

Praying for you to enjoy your summer and to be the fun Aunt you are known to be  We all are lonely sometimes even though we are never alone. Just don't let the enemy beat you up or try get you to take up a reproach. I hope you will have a blessed day.

Jesus said that he will never leave us or forsake us. Ask God to give you friends, and he will, because fellowship between christians and people in general, is God's idea, he created it. Think about it. God Almighty said in the book of Genesis, that it is not good for a man to be alone. That is why he created Eve for Adam.

Hey, You are never alone. The Lord is always there. While Jesus was making waves in the synagogue, one of his disciples came to him basically saying Lord, your family wants you to quit what you are doing, they fear for you. He said, you are my family, my brothers and sisters, those are my blood relatives. He refused to stop because he came to fulfill prophecy.
One night, a month or so ago, after listening to the song by Dokken called Alone Again , while in the shower, I heard a small still voice say, "you have me"! That got me thinking a few hours later, and even to the next day or 3, that He's better than the woman I was moping over, to a certain degree, by far. It was enough to snap me out of the lull.
Furthermore, I am kind of a sad case on Earth myself. I am reluctant to join the singles club at Church, because I am married to the Lord. They'll have trouble buying that when I run it by them.
